(English) Collaboration start with BitDefender Romania

We are happy to announce that the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages (FILS) at the University “Politehnica” of Bucharest and the Enterprise Technical Documentation team of BitDefender have decided a few days ago to collaborate more closely in the coming academic year 2019-2020. According to Assoc. Prof. Voichita Ghenghea, PhD, this collaboration will result in a series of lectures, workshops, presentations, as well as visits with our students at the BitDefender headquarters, in Bucharest. Thus, students are expected to benefit of the expertise of the specialists working in the field of Software Documentation, getting up-to-date information and becoming more motivated. In fact, this was also the case with the presentation “The Adventure of a Tech Writer in the Software Universe” held by Maria Nedelcu, head of the above-mentioned department, when she and her team visited us at FILS (German Department) on May 16th. The event raised students’ interest and it was a real success. On this occasion we also discussed a few possibilities to plan joint events with tekom Romania (country organization for Technical Communication) in the near future. This is a good start, which makes both parties confident for the future.
