EXTEND Meeting in Khujand State University

From 14.10.2018 to 20.10.2018, in Khujand State University (Khujand, Tajikistan), within the framework of the international educational project EXTEND 586060-EPP-1-2017-1-RO-EPPKA 2-CBHE-JP “Excellence in Engineering Education through Teacher Training and New Pedagogic Approaches in Russia and Tajikistan”,  a regular seminar of the consortium consisting of 12 universities from Romania, UK, Latvia, Portugal, Russia and Tajikistan was held.   University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB) and Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages (FILS) were represented by Mrs. Elisabeth Lazarou (also the director of the EXTEND project) and Mrs Maria-Iuliana Dascalu (vice-dean of FILS).

The following issues were discussed during the seminar: creation of a web-platform for the development and implementation of educational online courses; approval of the plan for the dissemination of the project and its preliminary results; approval of the work plan of the EXTEND project for the second year; development and approval of the list of competencies necessary for the organization of training in the EXTEND centres. Also, meetings with the professors and students from Khujand State University took place.
